Ministerial Dinner in Madrid

On the 28th February 2002. Enterprise Ireland hosted an evening dinner for Irish companies and their Spanish counterparts in Madrid.

The aim of the event was to promote closer relations between Irish and Spanish companies. The event took place at the prestigious "Casino de Madrid" in the heart of Madrid. The splendid building has been restored and remodelled recently under the management of its current president. Don Manuel Garcia-Miranda y Rivas and is declared a monument of great cultural interest.

Attending the dinner as guest speaker was Mr. Tom Kitt. TD, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment (with special responsibility for Labour Affairs, Consumer Rights and International Trade' with his wife, Jacinta
Mr Declan O'Donovan, the Irish Ambassador in Spain, was also present along with representatives of Enterprise Ireland and their Madrid offices, Mr: Nick Fitzpatrick and Mr: Tom McGrath represented ISEA. The evening, in this magnificent setting, was extremely successful and enjoyed by all.
